The CBYC Summer Program features camps beginning in June and finishing at the end of August. We offer multiple classes to meet the needs of the participants ranging from beginner to advanced from the ages of 8-18 years. The emphasis is on teaching the basics and more advanced techniques of sailing through small classes and lots of fun.

All Sailing Instructors are Certified US Sailing Instructors, as well as CPR / First Aid Certified. Program enrollment is limited, and all registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to sign up early for the session you want to ensure that you save a spot!

Warm-up week(1 week session 9am-4pm): June 10th-14th

• Opti 1: Beginners
  • Prerequisites: 7 years old / Must pass swim test on the first day
  • Student Age Recommendation: 7-12 years old
• Opti 2: Intermediate
  • Prerequisites: Meet the Move Up goals of Opti 1 / Must pass swim test on the first day​
  • Student Age Recommendation: 7-13 years old
• FJ​: Beginner/Intermediate
  • Prerequisite: Must pass swim test on the first day
  • Student Age/Size Recommendation: 12-18 years old or over 110 lbs.

Sessions are split between morning (9a-12p) and afternoon (1p-4p) classes
Session 1: June 17th-June 28th
Session 2: July 1st-3rd, 8th-12th (shortened session for 4th of July)
Session 3: July 15th- 26th
Session 4: July 29st- August 9th
